Finally, I am able to sit down at the computer and update some photos. Today's goal is to add pics from the first week of the TwinInfants.

The most of our first week was at the Hotel Fletcher Allen (the local hospital), where we had a wonderful large room with a few of Mt mansfield, and great nurses to take care of us!

The girls were delivered on Tuesday, and we were released at 3:30 pm on Saturday. Our first night at home was going rather uneventfully, until a section of my incision opened up to let forth a huge amount of blood and fluid! GROSS! and very scary. I "applied pressure" and Mike gathered up the girls and we headed up to the hospital for a Sunday 4:00am Emergency Room visit. I hadn't really come unzipped, but it's called a seroma, and it was due to fluid build-up, leftover from the pregnancy. In the end, no biggie, but it was a royal pain while it was re-healing...

Aside from that adventure, the first week was pretty quiet. The girls spent time sleeping, eating, pooping. We endeavored to figure out what they were needing at any given time, making sure the dogs and cat still felt loved, and resting. Mike was (and is) amazing at coordinating all household and caregiving aspects, and taking care of his girls...
